DENTURES / PARTIALS IN SPOKANE, WA

What is a Full Denture or Partial Denture

Dentures and partial dentures are removable dental appliances designed to replace missing teeth and restore your smile, bite, and confidence.

  • Full dentures replace all of the teeth in the upper or lower arch.
  • Partial dentures are used when some natural teeth remain and are designed to blend seamlessly with your existing teeth.

Modern dentures are far more comfortable and natural-looking than those of the past. They help support facial structure, improve speech, restore proper chewing function, and prevent remaining teeth from shifting out of position.

At Moran Prairie Dentistry, we customize every denture and partial to fit your mouth comfortably and look as natural as possible - because your smile should feel like you.

Why Choose Moran Prairie Dentistry for Dentures & Partials?

Choosing the right dental team makes all the difference when it comes to comfort, fit, and long-term success.

At Moran Prairie Dentistry, we offer:

  • Personalized treatment planning tailored to your oral health and lifestyle
  • Natural-looking materials for a realistic appearance
  • Precise fittings and adjustments to maximize comfort and function
  • Compassionate, patient-focused care at every visit
  • Ongoing support to keep your denture fitting well over time

We take the time to listen to your concerns, answer your questions, and ensure you feel confident in your smile again.

What to Expect During the Denture or Partial Process

Your denture journey typically involves several steps to ensure the best possible fit and appearance:

  1. Consultation & Exam: We evaluate your oral health, discuss your goals, and determine whether a full denture or partial denture is the best option.
  2. Impressions & Measurements: Detailed impressions are taken to create a denture that fits comfortably and looks natural.
  3. Try-In Appointments: You’ll preview the fit, shape, and color before the final denture is completed.
  4. Final Placement: Once your denture or partial is ready, we make final adjustments and ensure proper comfort and function.
  5. Follow-Up Visits: Additional visits may be needed to fine-tune the fit as your mouth adjusts.

Post-Op Instructions & Denture Care

Adjusting to a new denture or partial takes time, and some mild soreness or speech changes are normal at first.

Helpful tips for success:

  • Wear your denture as instructed, especially during the adjustment period
  • Remove and clean your denture daily using a denture brush and non-abrasive cleaner
  • Avoid very hard or sticky foods initially
  • Practice speaking to help your mouth adapt
  • Never use hot water to clean your denture, as it can warp the material
  • Schedule regular checkups so we can monitor fit and oral health

If you experience persistent discomfort, sore spots, or looseness, contact our office - adjustments are often quick and can make a big difference.
